The ego has no place in a business of hospitality. Once we told him he was justifying the situation he tried to apologize making no such effort to make us feel like he was going to help the experience. This put a bad taste in our mouths to say the least. He continued to justify how he hadn’t got a complaint all day and therefore he attempted to make the entire of ten people realize that we were all wrong about how bad the food, drinks and experience was and he was right. He brought his ego to the table and proceeded to explain to us how many people come to the restaurant and he never gets any complaints. The general manager came to the table and put the cherry on top of this disappointing experience. We explained all of this to the waitress who was apologetic but unfortunately she forgot some items we ordered and messed up some orders as well. The flan and tres leche cake weren’t touched because no one liked them and described it tasting like old milk. We were celebrating a birthday so we ordered dessert. The consensus amongst the table was we have had way better food elsewhere. I would never eat here again to say the least. It lacked flavor, it was dry and it was cold. The food runner came into the igloo twice with drinks that were not for our table and spilled a drink during that time. When ordering entrees some options, again, weren’t available. The waitress asked us to order entrees at the same time as ordering appetizers but this confused her and ultimately she got some orders wrong. When ordering appetizers a few options weren’t available either. Most of the table drank water and soft drinks. We tried ordering wine but a lot of options weren’t available.

No one liked any of the drinks so we sent those back as well. The sangria tasted flat and watered down. Then we ordered 2 pitchers of red sangria.

The mojito tasted like lemonade so we sent it back to the bar. We started with drinks and ordered a coconut mojito pitcher. 1 year agoWe were all excited to have dinner here but that sentiment quickly became disappointment. Kevin the concierge was helpful and friendly.ġRosa G. Marvin is a poor manager and needs retraining with regards to customer service. But my friends were troopers and helped me keep a smile on my face. Needless to say I won’t be back! There are plenty great roof top hot spots. They sent a bottle of champagne to try and accommodate but that was too little too late.Īnother kicker, upon leaving and paying completely for the bill, they bring out another bill and state that this is “another bill†they forgot to include with our order. The manager Marvin was completely unprofessional! RUDE! Disgusting! I kept him abreast of my entire bad experience that night but he was unwilling to assist or accommodate. No one from management came out to apologize. He had to spend the rest of the time there in his undergarment. Wait time for food was also long.Īnd here’s the cherry on top, while bringing out our appetizers the waitstaff spills red hot sauce on the head and clothing of two of my guest. The tables lacked water, utensils, and plates.

An hour and a half later we were given seats. After waiting and complaining I was told they would see what they could to.

However, staff approached multiple times trying to get us to leave that area without giving us an alternative where to sit. In the interim, while trying to resolve this issue we were given seats In the lounge area. Today was the second most hottest day in the summer thus far. I made reservations 3 weeks prior for inside dining but when I arrived I was told only outside seating was available. From the moment I arrived it was a disaster!!! It was birthday so my sister suggested this new hot spot! I was elated to celebrate here with friends and family.
